Account Details
Keep the account open at least six months to avoid the $20 early closure fee. The checking account must be open, in good standing, and have a balance above zero when the bonus pays out.
Eligibility
New and existing Travis Credit Union members qualify as long as this is your first TCU consumer checking account and you have not owned one in the last 36 months.
- Membership is open to people who live, work, worship, or attend school in Solano, Yolo, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Alameda, Colusa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sonoma, or Stanislaus County in California, plus military and civilian personnel of Travis Air Force Base and immediate family members of current members.
- Membership requires a one-time non-refundable $5 fee plus a $5 minimum deposit to a Prime Share savings account.
- Only Free Checking, Access Checking, and Investor Checking accounts qualify. Free and Investor Checking require a $50 minimum opening deposit; Access Checking requires $25.
- Only the primary account holder of the new checking account is eligible. Travis Credit Union employees are excluded.
