Open your first Connect checking
Open your first Connect Credit Union Checking or eChecking account between 9/15/26 and 12/15/26. New members also open a Share Savings Account to establish membership.
$250 in direct deposits within 60 days
Receive a total of at least $250 through one or more qualifying payroll or retirement benefit direct deposits within 60 calendar days after opening. Transfers between accounts, person-to-person payments, cash deposits, and check deposits do not count.
Connect deposits the $400 into the new checking account within 60 days after the requirements are completed and verified.

- The $2.75 monthly Account Security Fee is waived when the applicable combined-balance requirement is met
The checking account must stay open and in good standing through the bonus payment date, which is up to 60 days after the requirements are verified.
Eligibility
Current Connect members qualify only if they have never had a Connect checking account. Anyone who has or had a Connect checking account is not eligible.
- Membership: live or work in an eligible Florida county (Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Duval, Flagler, Glades, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Volusia), be a State of Florida employee, an FDOT retiree or FDOT contractor employee, or an immediate family member of a current member.
- New members must open and keep a Share Savings Account to establish membership.

- →The direct deposit must come from an employer or payroll provider, or a retirement fund or benefits provider. Transfers from your own accounts and P2P payments do not count.
- →Current Connect members can qualify if they have never had a Connect checking account.
- →Keep the account open and in good standing until the bonus posts, up to 60 days after Connect verifies the requirements.
- →Membership is limited to people who live or work in 31 eligible Florida counties, State of Florida employees, FDOT retirees and contractor employees, and family of members.

Available to eligible new and current Connect Credit Union members who have never previously had a Connect checking account. Receive a total of at least $250 through one or more qualifying payroll or retirement benefit direct deposits within 60 calendar days after opening. Transfers between accounts, person-to-person payments, cash deposits, check deposits and deposits from other sources do not count. Bonus deposited within 60 days after all requirements are met and verified. The Checking Account must remain open and in good standing through the bonus payment date. Connect Checking accounts have a $2.75 monthly Account Security Fee, waived when the applicable combined-balance requirement is met.
