Open a new Sage CU checking account
Open a new Simple, Rewards, Compass or Pathfinder Checking account by November 30, 2026. You need Sage CU membership (county-based) and $5 in a Membership Savings account.
Receive a $500 direct deposit
Receive a direct deposit of at least $500 within the first 90 days of account opening.
The $250 is deposited to the new checking account at the month end after the account has been open 90 days. Sage CU reports it on a 1099-INT.

The account must be open and in good standing when the bonus is deposited, at the month end after 90 days.
Eligibility
Not for primary owners of a Sage CU Simple, Rewards, Compass or Pathfinder checking account on 08/31/26.
- Membership: you live, work, worship, or attend school in a Sage CU chartered county, or have family who does. Chartered counties: Klamath, Lake, Harney and Malheur in Oregon; Modoc and Siskiyou in California; Humboldt, Pershing, Lander and Eureka in Nevada.
- You must keep at least $5 in a Membership Savings account.
- Limit one New Checking Account Bonus per member.

- →Membership is county-based. You qualify if you live, work, worship or attend school in Klamath, Lake, Harney or Malheur County (OR), Modoc or Siskiyou County (CA), or Humboldt, Pershing, Lander or Eureka County (NV), or have family who does.
- →Simple Checking and Rewards Checking have no monthly fee, so the account costs nothing to hold until the bonus posts.
- →The bonus posts at the month end after 90 days, so expect it around four months after opening.
- →You are not eligible if you were a primary owner of a Sage CU checking account on August 31, 2026.

Offer begins 9/1/26. To earn the bonus, you must (1) open a new Sage Federal Credit Union (Sage CU) Simple Checking, Rewards Checking, Compass Checking, or Pathfinder Checking account by 11/30/2026 (2) receive a Direct Deposit of at least $500 within the first 90 days of account opening. Offer limited to those who are not primary owners of a Sage CU Simple Checking, Rewards Checking, Compass Checking or Pathfinder Checking on 08/31/26. The bonus funds will be deposited to your new checking account at the month end after the new checking account has been open for 90 days if all requirements are met as described above and your account is open and in good standing as defined by the Membership Agreement at the time of the bonus deposit. Limit one New Checking Account Bonus per member.
