10 qualifying transactions in 45 days
Complete 10 qualifying checking transactions within 45 days of opening. ACH debits or credits, check clearings, bill payments, and debit or credit card purchases count. ATM transactions and cash deposits or withdrawals do not.
Red Canoe pays the $150 after 45 days from account opening once the requirements are met.
Account Details
- Elevate Checking: $5 monthly fee waived with eStatements, which the bonus requires anyway (Premier $7 and Premier Plus $10 have no waiver listed on the promo page)
The bonus is paid after 45 days from account opening once the requirements are met. Red Canoe will not deposit it into a closed account or one not in good standing.
Eligibility
New members only. Anyone with an existing ownership account at Red Canoe is not eligible. One bonus per Social Security number.
- Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Washington, or lives or works in the Oregon counties of Linn, Benton, Lane, Marion, or Polk, plus family members of eligible people.
- Not valid on business accounts.
Tips & Gotchas
- →No direct deposit is needed. ACH credits count as qualifying transactions, so small transfers in from another bank can help reach 10.
- →Open the checking account at the same time you open the membership savings account. The terms tie the bonus to checking opened when you establish membership.
- →Elevate Checking's $5 monthly fee is waived with eStatements, which the bonus already requires, so it is the cheapest of the three accounts to hold.
- →The promotion cannot be combined with other Red Canoe offers or incentives.
