Open an Edge Checking account
Open a new Edge Checking account by September 30, 2026 with a $100 minimum opening deposit. You have to be new to Community State Bank consumer checking.
15 debit card purchases in one cycle
Have at least 15 Visa debit card transactions post and settle within a single statement cycle inside the first 90 days. PIN, signature, contactless, and mobile wallet purchases all count. ATM transactions do not.
One direct deposit in that same cycle
Receive at least one ACH direct deposit that posts and settles in the same statement cycle as the 15 debit purchases. There is no minimum dollar amount.
Enroll in e-statements
Be enrolled in e-statements with a valid email address and receiving your monthly statement electronically. Accounts that do not enroll within 90 days of opening are charged a $3.95 monthly statement fee.
The bonus is paid within 30 calendar days after the end of the 90-day qualifying period.

Meet the Edge Checking premium interest requirements in full during at least one statement cycle within the first 90 calendar days: a minimum of 15 Visa debit card transactions posted and settled (ATM transactions excluded), at least one direct deposit ACH posted and settled, and enrollment in electronic statements with a valid email address. The account must remain open at least 90 calendar days and have a positive balance at the end of the qualifying period. Bonus offer is only available to residents of Iowa. Not available to anyone who currently holds or has held any type of Community State Bank consumer checking account within the past 12 months.
