Tips & Gotchas
- →This is a branch-only offer. There is no online application, so you have to visit a Bankers Trust branch in Iowa, Omaha NE, or the Phoenix AZ area to open the account.
- →The 25 debit transactions and 2 qualifying deposits both run on the same 60-day clock from account opening.
- →Keep the account open 12 months after opening. Closing sooner triggers a $400 early closing fee, which wipes out the bonus.
- →Not available if you have had a Bankers Trust checking account in the last 6 months.
